Have you ever wondered how to take your novel from burning idea to finished manuscript? Or have you written a novel and now aren’t sure what to do with it?

This one-week intensive novel workshop will provide step by step instruction in completing and selling your manuscript. We’ll discuss plot, pacing, and creating suspense, examining both the science and the art of novel-building. Our classes will be complemented by individual manuscript consultations and Zoom conversations with agents and editors.

Lauren Grodstein

Lauren Grodstein is the author of the national bestseller We Must Not Think of Ourselves, a Today Show Read with Jenna pick.  Her other novels include the New York Times bestseller A Friend of the Family and the Washington Post Book of the Year The Explanation for Everything.  In her many articles and essays, she’s written about — among other subjects — adopting her daughter from China, her abiding love for Delaware, and failing a tryout for Playboy. She’s taught creative writing in Paris for eighteen summers.
